Time for the Caulfield Cup, once probably the second most important race in Australia but now something of a novelty handicap. Nevertheless, I love the rich history of the race and that goes for the dosages of many of our past winners. We see that they largely come from a very narrow range of DI from 1.20 to 1.50. The two whose dosages fit best in this range are She's Ideel and Charms Star, both at big odds but both might run a lot better than expected and could add some value to the multiples. We have seen some runners win with other dosage profiles, and the two others runners who match these are Incentivise and The Chosen One. Even though Incentivise has drawn wide, I think he will win, and The Chosen One should run well and we might end up with a nice quinella from these top four selections.
